More on Marshall Rosenberg’s process of non-violent communication

We all know that peace and conflict resolution are major focus areas of Rotary International. But how can each of us contribute to this lofty goal? One way is to learn and use techniques of Marshall Rosenberg’s non-violent communication in our personal relationships, the work place and beyond. Non-violent communication has four key parts: 1) Observing without judging; 2) Being aware of your own feelings and those of others; 3) Getting clarification around needs (being met or unmet); 4) Making requests of the other party (not demands).
