Steve Abels is a former Rotary Peace Scholar, former Rotary Youth Exchange Student, and former Rotary Group Study. His fascinating career as a Foreign Service Officer with the State Department has had Steve living and serving the United States all over the world. Currently, Steve is the Assistant to United States Ambassador Rahm Emanuel at the U.S. Embassy in Toyko, Japan. Rotary has had an unquestionable influence on Steve’s life and career.
