Cultural Connections is an online program developed by the Pathways Rotary Club for the purpose of connecting two individuals and their families from two different countries virtually.
- Participants will experience similarities and differences in their cultures without regard to age, gender, nationality, religion, or ethnic orientations.
- Program participants will go through supervised and structured “meetups” to examine each other’s culture and likely develop a lifetime bond of friendship which is the first step to world peace.
- The program includes 10 virtual meet-ups whereby each will be a facilitated session focused on a cultural characteristic.
- Through conversation, creative illustration, and friendly constructive competition, participants will learn of likes, dislikes, demographic similarities, historic novelties, and much more.
