The following program is the second program chosen by Rotary E-Club Member, D.J. Muse.

Serving the Foundation – The Cadre of Technical Advisers
As near as I can remember, since I joined Rotary in 1977 at the age of 22, November’s been “Foundation Month,” the month we ask members to put a bit of special attention to the philanthropies of TRF.
I’ve been honored for the past 12 years or so (THANK YOU PDG Jim for pointing me to this service avenue) to volunteer with The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International as a member of TRF’s  “Cadre of Technical Advisers.”  This video presentation’s a couple of year’s old, but fundamentally, the Cadre functions precisely as presented in the video.
My efforts are focused on providing financial oversight (typically after-project-completion) and operational auditing and grant compliance functions on behalf of TRF.  I’ve been fortunate to work with both District Grants and Global Grants, with Connecticut to Oklahoma and for grants delivered in Eastern Europe as well as North America, involving clubs from Europe and the Americas.  The Cadres’ focus is to help insure grant projects not only conform to RI requirements, but that they are sustainable, fit within the organization’s areas of focus, and deliver value to the grant recipients.
