This weeks program was chosen by E-Club Member, René Grunwald from Jockgrim, Germany.

René’s introduction to his program/article of choice: “It is not so much because it is about a German guy but rather reflecting some of my own experience. Rotary opened great opportunities for me when I was accepted as an exchange student more than 25 years ago. This is now a presidential theme and I can only agree. After this wonderful Rotary year in Ohio (1994/95) with lots of great experiences, friendship etc. Rotary somehow disappeared for me. I always wondered how I could be part of it, contribute and give back what I was able to experience but it was just not there until I came across our e-club. I am very curious how Rotary will be able to approach the “young” generation in a different way – other than the exchange programs.”

For the record
Business casual
A youthful outlook isn’t the only key to rejuvenating Rotary, but it’s a start.
For President-elect Holger Knaack, the opportunities are endless.
